What Is Pilates?
Pilates is a method of exercise designed to strengthen and balance the body, with a focus on core strength, posture, and flexibility. It involves a series of controlled movements and exercises that target both deep and surface muscles, improving overall fitness and well-being.
Who Is Pilates For?
Regardless of age, ability or fitness level, Tina’s Pilates is beneficial for everyone. Regular practitioners of Tina’s Pilates feel a heightened sense of awareness and ease in their bodies, experiencing less pain and increased mobility. This freedom ultimately leads to increased satisfaction in life!
What are the Classes like?
A typical Pilates class focuses on controlled, precise movements to strengthen the core, improve posture, and increase flexibility, often lasting 45 minutes to an hour.
Classes may or may not use equipment like a mat or reformer. The emphasis is on slow, mindful movement and proper breathing.
